I published a free video on Youtube showing how I hit 22 different serves but I sped up the middle part where I hit the 18 serves that most players are aware of.

Here is the full clip of me hitting all 18 serves (and missing them ;)) and my comments about them. And here’s the link to the full video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HvTpRIhYco

    Hi Tomaz,
can you share a few tips as to HOW to direct any serve ( Flat/Slice/Topspin) to either Wide/Body/T from Ad/Deuce Side

      Hi Siddhant,

There is no complicated answer to this, you just aim and try to adjust based on your previous shot. Check this video article:

      https://www.feeltennis.net/improve-the-accuracy-fast/

If you were expecting some kind of technical answer like, angle the racket face more outward or push your elbow forward or anything that has to do with the body, it’s not the way at all because the angle differences between these ball flights are very small and the angle difference of the racket face at contact is so microscopic that there is no way your conscious mind can control that.

So it’s just aiming and practicing, whatever level you are at. Whether you have a kid 7 years old that serves with a forehand grip, has a waiter’s tray and just serves a 20 km/h pancake serve or you have Novak Djokovic practicing 200 km/h serves, they are both doing the same thing – just aiming and adjusting.
