    Great explanation as usual Tomaz.
    I’d like to ask your opinion about stationary balls (eye coach or topspin pro) as tools to work on balance, hip rotation, holding follow through and so on.
    It’s impossible to have easy balls from hitting partners so that you can focus on technique, comfort and stability or using tools like rubber bands or heavier racquets.
    I think that hitting a ball is better than just shadow swinging. What do you think?

      Hi Carlo,

      I think stationary balls are quite fine for working on technique. In fact I simply drop balls from my hand standing next to the player so that it’s as easy ball as possible as I ask them to focus on certain body part.

      We need an easy ball because the mind is taxed with focusing on executing some new movement and therefore cannot judge the ball well.

      So we need very easy balls in that stage and stationary balls would be just fine for a certain stage of learning.
